Description
We are looking to hire a detail-oriented and analytical Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our application. The ideal candidate will design and execute test plans, identify defects, and collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The candidate should be able to work closely with development and product teams to identify issues early, improve testing processes, and deliver high-quality releases. Ability to work in a team environment, prioritize work well, communicate clearly and show the willingness to learn and adapt faster in the new environment. Must be able to work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time. Strong analytic capability and the ability to create innovative solutions. The candidate must be a highly motivated individual who is looking to grow their career in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, candidates will need extensive knowledge of testing and software development life cycle.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual testing of software applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement and design reviews to ensure testability.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business process analysts to resolve issues.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on quality metrics.
- Improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks.
- Follow agile methodology daily.
- Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires US Citizen or US Person with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline (computer science, engineering, etc.) and 5 years of prior relevant experience or master’s degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience.
- Working experience with at least one Relational Database Management System (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Deep understanding of software lifecycle.
- Working experience of Agile Development and continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Wiki etc.
