Lead Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) execution for next-generation deep-space radar systems-driving planning, coordination, and delivery of mission-critical logistics capabilities supporting Deep Space Advanced Radar.
A Day in the Life - What you'll do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) functions across the DARC Site 2 (DS2) program.
- Collaborate with Program Management and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to plan, execute, and monitor ILS activities.
- Manage project execution across logistics domains including material procurement, engineering documentation, property management, and system delivery.
- Support development of proposals in response to Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and evolving customer requirements.
- Assist Control Account Managers (CAMs) in maintaining schedules and reporting cost performance using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Participate in long-term sustainment planning to ensure operational readiness and lifecycle support.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and performance while preparing status reports for stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful program execution.
- Support development of Technical Orders (TOs), training materials, and logistics documentation aligned with mission needs.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and program requirements across logistics activities.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university
- 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 6 years with a Master's degree or 4 years with a PhD or 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Active DoD Secret security clearance required with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Experience managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Strong understanding of logistics management, inventory management, and DoD acquisition processes
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical manuals, training development, and logistics analysis
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for labor and materials
- Ability to travel up to 25% to support program needs
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as Teamcenter and Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems such as SAP
- Familiarity with logistics planning including Level of Repair Analysis, spares forecasting, reliability, and program health modeling
- Experience planning and managing deployment and fielding of systems or equipment
- Experience with MIL-PRF-49506 and LMI/LSA data products
- Experience supporting Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) processes
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance processes
- Experience with IT asset management or software license management
- Experience working within cross-functional, project-oriented environments
