Position Title: Janitor (Part Time)
Division: Advancia Government Services
Location: Junction City, WI
Grade/Salary Range: $20/per HR + $5.09 H&W
Schedule: Tuesdays and Fridays 8:00-2:00 PM
Position Summary
The Janitor will provide support to the U.S. Army Reserve facilities by providing various cleaning services to include but not be limited to floor care, dusting, restroom services, window and glass cleaning, and garbage/recyclable removal. Must be able to utilize cleaning products, chemicals, vacuums, mops, wringers, dust tools, and floor machines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
o Annual cleaning of interior and exterior window surfaces
o Remove trash and recyclables
o Sweep/dust/mop floors
o Damp mop floors
o Clean walk-off mats
o Annual floor stripping, sealing, polishing, and waxing
o Semi-annual buffing, burnishing, spray buffing
o Vacuuming
o Carpet cleaning and shampooing
o Sweep/clean/wash staircases, stairwells, and elevators
o Dusting; high and low
o Clean drinking fountains
o Service and clean restrooms; showers and stalls
o Tile and grout cleaning

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The employee must follow all rules and regulations relative to entering and leaving the building
Must be physically able to do their assigned work
Must follow all security, OPSEC, and safety rules and regulations
The employee will need to maintain regular communication with Project Manager via phone, text, or email
The employee will be required to fill out and submit a service ticket for each day's work to the Project Manager as well as update the restroom cleaning chart as needed
Follow established procedure methods for handling and mixing chemicals
The employee must adhere to the contractual cleaning schedule and provide adequate documentation for each task on the service tickets
Will be responsible for tracking supply inventory and notifying Project Manager when items need to be re-stocked prior to running out
Will keep janitor closet clean, organized, and odor free
Perform the following tasks at industry best practices:

Education & Experience Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent
1 year experience in custodial work that applies particular knowledge and skills to perform the position
Must be able to pass a background check
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Organized and detail orientated
Excellent communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Must be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work alone with minimal guidance
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Demonstrates good customer relationship skills
Must be dependable and punctual

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
For extended periods of time may be required to stand or walk; push or pull heavy equipment. Considerable reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing as required
Work will be performed primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks
