About the Role

UDSEAM is a major delivery program under CDAO (Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office) supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) in building and deploying AI and Data solutions at scale.

This program focuses on accelerating AI/ML development, data engineering, and DevSecOps capabilities to support mission-critical defense initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML solutions for DoD mission use cases
• Develop scalable data platforms and data pipelines
• Design and implement predictive models, NLP, and computer vision solutions
• Work with large-scale defense and operational datasets
• Deploy solutions in secure cloud environments (AWS GovCloud / Azure Gov)
• Implement DevSecOps and software engineering best practices
• Enable rapid prototyping and deployment of AI tools
• Integrate systems across multiple DoD agencies
• Support data-driven decision-making for defense operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional AI, data, and engineering teams

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop AI/ML models for mission-critical applications
• Build ETL pipelines and data engineering workflows
• Work with secure cloud infrastructure
• Optimize data processing and model performance
• Support analytics and intelligence use cases
• Deploy scalable and production-ready AI solutions

Required Skills

• Experience in AI / Machine Learning / Data Engineering
• Strong Python / Data Engineering background
• Cloud experience (AWS GovCloud / Azure Government preferred)
• Experience with large datasets and analytics
• DevSecOps / CI-CD knowledge preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Active Secret Clearance (Required)
