Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Configuration Data Controller Level 2/3 to join our team in Chandler, AZ.
The Configuration Controller will be responsible for managing and coordinating design and engineering changes, including drawings, Bills of Materials, and documentation, while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. Duties include reviewing and processing change notices, preparing Bill of Materials, entering data into Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, and supporting the release of engineering changes. Collaborates with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and support teams to track and implement changes. Maintains ERP / PLM tools, generates reports, and participates in team projects. Provides troubleshooting support for configuration management tools and oversees tasks such as change notices, part data entry, and Bill of Materials updates.
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off

Primary Level Salary Range: $37,400.00 - $62,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $44,400.00 - $74,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

In this job, you will:
- The Configuration Data Management Controller will perform CostPoint ERP system data entry for part requests, part substitutions, Bill of Materials and support the release of change notices
- The Controller may support audits of the ERP data and processes
- Candidate should possess experience in data entry with emphasis on the following:
- Knowledge of industry practices and standards related to configuration management, EIA-649
- The successful candidate will possess a focus on attention to detail with superior accuracy in inputting, verifying, and updating data
- Works under general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.

Basic Qualifications:
- Controller 2: High School degree with 2 years of additional education or related experience
- Prior data entry experience
- Must have ability to obtain U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
- Controller 3: High School degree with 4 years of additional education or related experience
- Prior data entry experience
- Must have ability to obtain U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Project Lifecycle Management / ERP tools
- Knowledge with CostPoint or SAP and TeamCenter is beneficial
- Prior data entry experience with data entry of bill of materials desired
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to collaborate effectively within a technical team environment.
- Soft skills include attention to detail, communication, problem solving and judgement, teamwork, high quality results
