Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Configuration Data Analyst - Level 1, to join our team in Chandler, AZ.
The Configuration Analyst plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.

Primary Level Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $81,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Configuration Data Analyst - Level 1, to join our team in Chandler, AZ.
The Configuration Analyst plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
In this job, you will:
- Coordinate modification records for data management control.
- Establish change orders and prepare change authorization and documentation.
- Perform technical writing to ensure release documentation meets quality standards and contractual marking requirements.
- Perform delivery of contractual deliveries (CDRL) to the customer
- Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
- Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.

Job Duties
- Configuration Analyst will perform technical / procedural writing using Project LifeCycle Management (PLM) tools to support change management, release and contractual delivery of program documentation to the customer.
- Candidate will support configuration and data management of program documentation
- The successful candidate will possess a focus on attention to detail with technical writing and proficiency with Microsoft Office M365 and Adobe Pro
- Track status of contractual deliveries (CDRL) and prepare and submit CDRL documentation packages to the customer
- Works under general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- High School degree or related experience
- Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro proficiency
- Must have ability to obtain U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical writing skills and tools, procedural writing and editing experience
- Understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and industry best practices for Configuration Data Management (CDM) (e.g., EIA-649, EIA-859, MIL-STD-973, MIL-HDBK-61, MAP, etc.) This includes the five fundamental elements (pillars) of CM per EIA-649 when performing DM activities
- Soft skills include attention to detail, communication, problem solving and judgement, teamwork, high quality results
- Experience with Change/File Management (PLM) Tool(s) desirable (i.e. TeamCenter)
