Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in developing and authoring technical flight manuals
- Experience interfacing with operational and maintenance personnel in operational work environments
- Experience developing Interactive Electronic Technical manuals (IETMs) (e.g. Quicksilver, Arbortext, XML, or S1000D format.)
- Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Technical Discipline.
- Experience authoring technical publications for complex military aeronautics publications
- Experience in developing military aeronautics technical publications, including flight manuals, maintenance manuals, illustrated parts breakdown manuals and maintenance job guides
- General experience in integrating Isometric illustrations or other graphical illustrations into an interactive electronic manual format.
- Ability to effectively work with multiple engineering, software, supportability, and logistics disciplines to develop highly accurate technical manuals
- Experience in verification and validation of technical publications is highly desirable
- Broad experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially MSWord, Arbortext, Adobe, Photoshop, CATIA and IsoDraw software tools
- Self starter and able to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
- Good communications and presentation skills.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
