Description:Join Our Team as an Senior Staff Electronics Engineer / Responsible Systems Engineer where you will lead development of sophisticated electronics products in a world class Integrated Product Team.
Location: This position does not support teleworking;the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: King of Prussia PA and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
As the Senior Staff, Electronics Engineer / Responsible Systems Engineer you will:
• Be the technical leader of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and be responsible for the development, certification, and delivery of custom automated test equipment that tests re-entry vehicle assets which are critical to our nation's strategic deterrence.
• Be the technical advocate for the complex system designs, and represent them across programmatic, functional, and customer organizations.
• Collaborate across a range of technical and programmatic disciplines to define and lead design, analysis and test activities within cost and schedule commitments in a dynamic environment.
• Work onsite full time at Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia (a.k.a. Valley Forge) PA with flexibility to coordinate time for personal commitments as they arise.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Electronics design, analysis, test, and troubleshooting (analog, digital, RF, or power) experience.
• 8+ years of experience
• Must have an active DoD Final Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications (must-haves)
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience with
o Product lifecycle design, integration, and test of electrical and mechanical systems
o Key product lifecycle milestones such as System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Test Readiness Review, Qualification Readiness Review
o Collaborating with an external customer
• Active DoD Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
• Excellent leadership skills demonstrated in a new development, dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal, in person and remote
• Ability to anticipate, plan, and direct execution of own work and that of the team
• Experience with the following:
o Collaborating with a military customer
o Estimating, product schedule development, basis of estimates
o Writing, deriving, and verifying requirements
o Conducting or supporting development of technical trade studies
o Defining architecture from requirements definition
o Environmental testing
o Aligning team member skill sets to program technical needs
o Integrating hardware (e.g. boards, chassis, test racks)
o Integrating software onto hardware platforms
• Familiarity with the following:
o Missile or satellite hardware or corresponding test hardware
o Failure investigation and root cause analysis
o Mechanical or electrical worst case analysis
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
