Lockheed Martin is seeking a System Integration/Test Engineer - Early Career to join the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) test team. As a Systems Integration and Test Engineer, you will plan and execute the assembly, integration, and testing of hardware systems supporting the LRHW Production program. In this role you will participate in the planning/execution of floor operations and will be responsible for architecting test scripts, creating test procedures, and other documentation needed to conduct testing on the production floor and the launch site.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
• Provide technical execution for assembly, integration, and testing activities
• Lead and support teams in executing hardware integration and test efforts
• Develop and review technical documentation, test plans, and presentations
• Present program status and technical results to leadership and customers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes
• Support program reviews and ensure alignment with customer requirements
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related degree
• Experience with hardware assembly, integration, and testing operations
• Experience creating technical documents, test plans, and review presentations
• Ability to work onsite across facilities in Huntsville, Alabama
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Comfortable presenting technical information in program reviews
• Clear and effective communication skills, including presenting to program leadership and customers
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking
• Experience with missile defense systems hardware integration and checkout
• Experience developing detailed hardware tests
• Experience creating and executing test procedures in Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO) environments
Technical Skills & Tools
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and specifications
• Experience supporting Failure Review Boards and Engineering or Change Control Boards
• Familiarity with tools such as SAP, EPDM, VECAMS, JIRA, Automation Framework, or similar systems
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
