The Work
Our Radar Systems Engineering team is seeking a candidate to support the integration, test, and verification of high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The Radar Systems Engineer will:
• Apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to develop revolutionary system solutions.
• Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution.
• Conduct system verification and support certification activities.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to accomplish technical objectives
• Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership on technical matters as required.
• Have strong analytical and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
• Be comfortable working in hands-on laboratory or field environments.
• Shift work may be required
• This position involves the ability to travel
domestically and internationally as needed to
support site installs, checkout and integration
testing.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent degree combined with 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of related experience
- Solid understanding of radar principles and signal processing techniques
- Experience integrating radar systems, subsystems and software components
- Experience performing functional testing and performance verification of radar systems
- Experience creating test plans and procedures to verify radar system requirements
- Proficiency with MATLAB for data analysis, Python or C++, and working in a Linux environment
- Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts and weekends as required by the supported program
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret
level clearance
Desired Skills:
- Requirements management and use of requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS)
- Domain expertise in one or more of the following: radar theory and analysis (e.g. radar digital beam forming, IQ data analysis), radar tracking/scheduling, electronic protection testing, active electronically scanned arrays (AESA) theory and operation
- Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
The base range for this position in New Jersey is $91,000 - $181,113.
