Description:You will be a F-16 Simulator Instructor for the Aeronautics Flight Operations Training Team which is responsible for delivering world-class flight simulation training to United Arab Emirates (UAE) Air Force pilots at Al Dhafra Air Base, UAE.
What You Will Be Doing
As a F-16 Simulator Instructor you will be responsible for shaping the general aircraft knowledge and tactical proficiency of UAE Air Force pilots in the F-16 Block 60 simulator.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-fidelity F-16 Block 60 simulator instruction to UAE Air Force pilots.
- Developing and updating academic and course training materials based on customer requirements.
- Preparing training schedules and maintaining accurate training records.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and documenting pilot performance to ensure proficiency standards.
- Coordinating with maintenance and support personnel to sustain simulator readiness.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an Interim Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experienced instructor pilot with a minimum of 1000 flight hours in fighter aircraft
• Fighter aircraft flying training instructor experience within the last 5 years.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college
• Must be proficient with computers, multi-media equipment, and platform instruction
• Must be a US citizen
• Must have a valid US passport
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with foreign partners is highly desired
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
• Operational experience with Night Vision Goggles (NVGs), Advanced Targeting Pods, The latest fighter aircraft weapons inventory
• Experience briefing and working closely with senior USAF and foreign government Air Force officers
• Positive attitude and cultural understanding to effectively accomplish training program goals
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
