Job Description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Field Service Representative to join our vehicle sustainment team in Lingenfeld, Germany. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

Important Note : Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 60 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Planning, directing, coordinating, and managing the maintenance operations for assigned Technical Direction Letter organizations.
  • Providing maintenance support including operations, system troubleshooting, engineering, design, installation, analysis, and repair of U.S. systems and subsystems to component level.
  • Effectively applying industry or military standard troubleshooting procedures to localize and isolate faulty system components.
  • Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all mission requirements.
  • Maintaining system baselines and configuration management items, including security and maintenance event monitoring policies.
  • Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in technical support of complex U.S. military ground systems.
  • Significant experience with MRAP family of vehicles training or maintenance.
  • Experience applying industry and/or military standard troubleshooting procedures to isolate faulty system components.
  • Experience with a variety of hand tools, diagnostic tools, power tools, and multi-meters.
  • Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening and possess a Valid Driver's License for the performance location.
  • Possession of a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.


Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experience on non-tactical/commercial vehicle fleets and/or military with light or heavy-duty trucks, tractors, tactical vehicles, ground systems, generators, power plants, aircraft or any diesel or gasoline powered equipment or vehicle.
  • Technical support experience of complex U.S. military ground systems.
  • Experience with office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-starter with excellent people skills able to work across teams and drive change throughout an organization.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch, kneel, push, pull, and reach.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in high noise areas.
  • Must be able to work with computers and exchange accurate information
