Position Summary / Background
Serve as the Principal Technical Subject Matter Expert (FISA & National Security) supporting federal national security organization priority programs across counterintelligence, counterterrorism, terrorist screening, and weapons of mass destruction (WMD) mission domains. Provide high-level SME support for FISA data/policy, electronic Woods procedures and compliance capabilities, National Security Letter requirements, Attorney General-authorized exemptions, system development, customer experience strategy, complex analyses, policy impact assessments, and executive-level briefings.

Clearance Requirements
- Top Secret / SCI (TS/SCI)
- Must successfully pass a CI-Polygraph
- Must obtain SCI-level clearance prior to receiving classified work assignments
Location
- Primarily on-site at government facilities within the National Capital Region (NCR), including Washington, DC. Limited telework is authorized only on a case-by-case basis.
- Classified work must be performed on government-furnished equipment and within approved secure facilities.
- Core hours: 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday).
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, Business, Finance, or other related analytical, scientific, or data-driven field
Required Experience & Technical Qualifications (15 years minimum)
- Minimum 15 years working in U.S. National Security, intelligence, defense, or law enforcement communities
- Minimum 10 years using U.S. National Security systems
- Minimum 8 years supporting U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) mission sets, FISA policy, and case management
- Minimum 8 years successfully leading, planning, initiating, coordinating, and executing special projects and programs of varying scope and complexity
- Minimum 8 years understanding how stakeholders in operational environments use enterprise systems and applications
- Minimum 8 years evaluating policy, data, and systems and advising on options for improvement or change
- Minimum 8 years implementing corrective actions and process improvements
- Minimum 8 years translating and communicating complex subject matter between technical and non-technical audiences
- Minimum 8 years using MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint
- Minimum 10 years writing and delivering executive-level briefings and presentations
- Minimum 10 years demonstrating professionalism, discretion, tact, and diplomacy with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders
