Job Description

Duties
Help
  • Serves as NAF Payroll Operations Branch Supervisor.
  • Plans and coordinates NAF Payroll Program operations, assigns work, sets deadlines, develops schedules for accomplishment of work, explains requirements and objectives, and ensures personnel are used to best accomplish the payroll mission.
  • Advises, assists and mentors subordinates in solving unusual or significantly complex and difficult problems, and renders decisions on controversial matters.
  • Plans/coordinates NAF Personnel pay issues with NAF Civilian Human Resource agencies worldwide and NAF Financial Services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
  • Demonstrated progressive knowledge of the policies and procedures of Army NAF Payroll functions is required.
  • At least one year leadership or supervisory experience is required.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner both orally and in writing.
  • Required experience must have been equivalent in complexity and difficulty to the next lower grade level.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered, "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
  • Highly Preferred applicants will be proficient with Microsoft Office products and have work experience of at least one year with data analysis.

  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
