PRIMARY FUNCTION
Yulista's Aerospace Systems and Engineering (ASE) Group delivers mission-critical capabilities across aviation support, test and evaluation, systems integration, and engineering services for DoD and federal customers. ASE supports programs across their full lifecycle - from concept and development through operations and sustainment.
Reporting to the ASE Group President and working closely with the Executive Vice President of Strategy and Growth, we are seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to lead growth across the ASE Group. You will build and convert a qualified pipeline into bookings, with a focus on early shaping, disciplined capture, and winning profitable work aligned to ASE's strategic priorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supervises a team of capture and business development professionals. This role exercises executive-level authority over staffing, performance management, organizational development, and succession planning within the financial operations function.

A fast-paced multi-tasking customer service-oriented environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance.

- Lead ASE business development and capture activities across the full lifecycle, from early positioning through proposal and award, aligned to group and corporate growth priorities.
- Build, qualify, and manage a high-quality pipeline tied to bookings targets.
- Shape and lead win strategies on priority pursuits, including teaming, pricing approach, and customer engagement.
- Drive disciplined pipeline execution, including gate reviews, forecasting, and Salesforce data accuracy.
- Develop and maintain strong customer and partner relationships while generating actionable market and competitive intelligence.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Proven ability to develop business with government customers and industry partners, with working knowledge of key decision makers and programs.
- Demonstrated success leading BD and capture teams and delivering measurable growth.
- Track record of winning new work, including entry into new markets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Ability to develop and deliver clear, concise presentations.
- Experience building and executing growth strategies with teaming partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in business development within the Federal contracting environment.
- Minimum 3+ years of senior leadership experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
