At AIS, we are dedicated to providing our employees with diverse opportunities to grow their careers while supporting a variety of impactful projects. For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Infrastructure Engineer.
- Core Knowledge & Skills: Manages routing/switching and network security, multi-OS environments, virtualization (e.g., VMware/Hyper-V), core cloud services, and release of IaC via pipelines; automates common admin tasks.
- Work & Complexity: Plans and executes upgrades/migrations, configures network devices and services, responds to incidents, monitors performance, and manages resources.
- Quality & Independence: Implements proactive monitoring, produces accurate documentation, improves processes, and works independently within project scope.
- Teamwork & Communication: Partners with peer teams, shares knowledge, coordinates changes, reports progress, and supports/train users.
- Consulting & Engagement: Advises internal teams on solutions and tools, evaluates technologies, recommends optimizations, and coordinates vendor support.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our clients to design, implement, maintain, and test various technical solutions using the latest technologies.
- Create and enhance Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines and various automation processes, including build management, automated deployments, automated testing, and configuration management.
- Provide infrastructure management support for Microsoft Tunnel
- Respond to Tier 2 support tickets in Service Now
- Manage pipelines for application and IaC deployments into our various environments
- Gather technical requirements and execute deliverables
- Scale infrastructure and applications in an automated way
- Document DevOps processes, procedures, and environments to ensure continuity
Required For This Opportunity
- As a condition of employment, the candidate must acquire an AZ-104 Certificate within 30 days of being hired or will be at-risk for termination.
- Minimum of three years of Terraform and Azure Cloud experience
- Experience automating infrastructure and application deployments using pipelines (GitHub, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Proficiency in infrastructure management and associated Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, etc.)
- Experience with cloud services (Azure)
- Active Secret Clearance
Nice to Have Skills
- CompTIA Security+
- Experience working with the DoD
- Experience in Windows or Linux Server Administration (with RedHat, CentOS, or similar)
- Understanding of application gateways, load balancers, and virtual network management
- Understanding of Microsoft Tunnel
