Job Title: Stock Clerk

Job Summary:

Provides logistical and inventory support for the FLETC Charleston Physical Techniques Division by issuing and tracking uniforms, towels, and training gear in the PT Building. Ensures accountability and proper distribution of materials that support daily law enforcement training operations.

Location: Charleston, SC

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain inventory of training uniforms, safety gear, towels, and other student equipment.
  • Issue and collect gear from students and staff in accordance with training schedules.
  • Organize and track uniform sizes, quantities, and reordering needs.
  • Manage laundering schedule for towels and gear and ensure clean stock is consistently available.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly supply and storage area.
  • Record inventory transactions and discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparation and delivery of supplies for classroom or field-based training.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management, supply issuance, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift, fold, and move inventory items including clothing and equipment.
  • Basic recordkeeping and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with supporting a training, government, or institutional environment (preferred).
  • Able to follow procedures for uniform accountability and loss reporting.
  • Possess a valid drivers license and have ability to abide by DAWSONs vehicle policy.

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be eligible for DHS background investigation and suitability clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident with work authorization.
