Job Description
Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for an IT Help Desk Analysts to support U.S. Navy's PEO IWS via their ACIO staff between the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC and Program Office in Crystal City, VA. We are seeking candidates to provide the US Navy with excellent information technology customer service support.
Responsibilities:
Work Location: Crystal City Program Office and Washington Navy Yard. Limited telework options (less than one day per week).
Travel: potential for travel (less than 5%)

Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of computer science principles, information management principles, automated data processing functions, information technology engineering, hardware and software systems' structures and operation, and computer programming languages and techniques to solve problems.
- Maintaining an inventory list of all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to include computers, iPhones and iPads
- Make recommendations to the Government to ensure GFE inventory is adequate to meet the urgent needs of the TEAM SUB Enterprise
- Test ports for connectivity
- Analysis of computer systems, programs, and/or planning activities
- Provided direct support for help desk calls, to include SIPR/NIPR issues, Flank Speed transition, coordinating NMCI support, and iPhone related issues
- Support migration of iPhone Purebred services into FLANKSPEED environment
- Issue mobile devices to Team Sub personnel
- Prepare, update, and process property passes for personnel and IT equipment
- Escalate troubleshooting issues to NMCI when above your capability
- Minimum one year of IT experience (three years preferred)
- Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills for both technical and business-related matters
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of DoD/Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
- Security + certification
- Active Secret Clearance
