Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Frequency Manager to support our client in Fort Rucker, AL . The Frequency Manager will manage and coordinate radio frequency spectrum usage to ensure regulatory compliance, prevent interference, and support operational, tactical, and strategic communications for government stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the Frequency Manager include:
· Manage radio frequency assignments and allocations in accordance with national and international regulations
· Coordinate spectrum usage with military, civil, and emergency service stakeholders
· Monitor spectrum usage and identify, analyze, and resolve interference issues
· Develop and implement spectrum plans supporting operational and strategic communications needs
· Liaise with regulatory authorities on licensing, compliance, and spectrum policy matters
· Support spectrum coordination for exercises, special events, and emergency operations
· Maintain accurate frequency databases, records, and technical documentation
Qualifications for the Frequency Manager include:
· Active Secret clearance
· Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, information technology, or a related field
· 3-5+ years of experience in spectrum management, frequency planning, or radio communications
· IAT Level II certification, including one of the following: CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP
· Spectrum XXI certification, completion of the Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager (25E) Course, or equivalent experience
· Knowledge of RF propagation, signal behavior, and radio communications equipment
· Experience using spectrum management tools such as Spectrum XXI, PR-200, or Spectrum Guard Pro
Compensation for the Frequency Manager includes:
· Salary Range: $110,000-$130,000 depending on experience
