Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

The Lead Enterprise Watch directs a team of Enterprise Watch Officers (EWO) who deliver command and control functions around infrastructure services in a 7x24 environment. These duties include delivering proactive collection, dissemination, and monitoring of mission system and site status, as well as leadership, coordination, and collaboration for a critical and high-priority incident resolution that provides NGA executives and CIO-T leadership with situational awareness located in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of enterprise management professionals to include personnel actions, scheduling, and timekeeping
  • Manage Critical Priority tickets to resolution.
  • Monitor operational activities of all functions within the ESC (e.g., PSOC, CSOC, Service Desk, etc.) to maintain centralized situational awareness of the overall health of NGA IT services.
  • Communicate the status of the operational infrastructure.
  • Provide briefings to senior leadership on the status of the IT enterprise.
  • Prepare and deliver Daily Operational briefings.
  • Collect, coordinate, and brief upcoming days' AOs.
  • Recommend appropriate mitigation activities to minimize downtime, minimize mission impact, and restore services as soon as possible.
  • Assist in assessing the impact of events and incidents on mission capability, prioritizing service restoration activities, and providing a final assessment of mission impacts prior to conducting authorized outages.
  • Coordinate with any impacted mission partners during unscheduled outages to advise of outage status, remediation actions, and projected restoral times.
  • Engage in supervisory responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience OR
  • Associate degree and 10+ years of relevant experience OR
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent with 12+ years of relevant experience
    • Experience in the Intelligence Community
  • TS/SCI Clearance


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree or MBA
  • Active Security + Certification
  • Active PMP Certification
  • Operational experience with ServiceNow


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to work Shift hours. Shift will be identified upon hire
  • Prior experience in a mission watch or NOC resource function
  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
