Job Description
Job Title: Tester
Location: Fort Meade, MD – onsite
Job Type: Contract 12 + months – good chance of extensions
Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph (FS Poly)
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex cloud software systems
• Lead system, integration, and performance testing activities across multiple releases in a secure environment
• Coordinate and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with mission stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet requirements
• Document defects, monitor remediation progress, and verify fixes throughout the development lifecycle
• Collaborate with development teams, analysts, and program leadership in an Agile environment, participating in Scrum ceremonies
• Utilize Jira for test case tracking, defect management, and workflow updates, and interface with GitHub repositories for build validation
• Provide detailed test reports, risk assessments, and readiness recommendations to leadership
Requirements
• At least 8 years of experience in software testing, including test plan development and execution
• Proven experience with system, integration, and performance testing cycles
• Hands-on expertise with writing and executing test scripts and plans for complex projects
• Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira for defect management
• Experience with GitHub for version control and build validation
• Active Full-Scope Polygraph security clearance (no exceptions)
• Technical writing skills demonstrated through supporting documentation
• Experience deploying applications in cloud environments and developing data-driven analytics
