Senior Systems Engineer
• Clearance: Active TS
• Location: On-site at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB)

What You’ll Do
• Design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Windows infrastructure (Active Directory, Group Policy, PKI, etc.).
• Manage identity and access systems, certificate authorities, and PKI infrastructure.
• Depending on specializations: Linux systems, containerized workloads (Kubernetes, Docker), etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, security, and operational improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis for system outages or performance issues.
• Mentor less-senior engineers and technicians.
Tech Knowledge / Skills
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Core On-prem technologies (Windows Server, AD, Exchange, PKI, Group Policy).
• Experience with Linux server management, scripting/automation.
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) in hybrid environments.
• Security, networking, monitoring, and backup/DR integration relevant to enterprise infrastructure.
Requirements
• 8+ years systems engineering experience in secure/cleared environments.
• Active TS
• Professional certification required; Expert-level preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with progressive responsibilities indicative of a senior engineer.
