This position is contingent upon contract award and position availability. Selected candidates will receive a contingent offer of employment, which will become final only upon successful contract award to Maximus, availability of the position, and receipt of authorization to proceed.
This role is onsite, five days a week, and requires a TS/SCI security clearance.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and evolution of the IDCS enterprise architecture aligned with DoD and USAF standards.
- Define and integrate cybersecurity requirements into architectural designs, ensuring compliance with RMF and NIST SP 800-160.
- Champion Zero Trust and defense-in-depth principles across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Evaluate and select secure technology solutions for integration into mission systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure architectural alignment and governance.
- Embed architectural oversight into Agile and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, briefings, and presentations to senior leadership and government clients.
Minimum Requirements
TCS035, T5, Band 8
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred focus in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field).
- TS/SCI clearance required.
- Minimum 10 years in technology consulting.
- At least 5 years supporting federal government programs.
- Experience architecting and integrating large-scale systems-of-systems (SoS) in DoD or USAF environments.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (DoDAF, TOGAF, Zachman).
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity architecture principles (Zero Trust, defense-in-depth).
- Experience with cloud architecture and security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate across technical and executive audiences.
- Experience embedding architectural governance into Agile and DevSecOps environments.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- At least one of the following:
CompTIA Security+
CISSP, ISSAP, CCSP
CISM, CISA
GSLC
CCISO
TOGAF
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with USAF-specific architecture and compliance standards.
- Advanced certifications in cloud security or enterprise architecture.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, container orchestration, and hybrid cloud platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in complex, large-scale environments.
- Experience advising senior leadership on architectural strategy and risk posture.
