Description:This technical role is responsible for the certification, installation, testing, maintenance and repair of Technical security related hardware, devices and systems the must meet UL certified standards. The role ensure that all security solutions such as intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance and alarm integrations are deployed, inspected, certified and documented in compliance with UL requirements including DoD and ICD-705, industry best practices, and company policies.
Key responsibilities may include:
• Conducting functional testing and UL required acceptance testing
• Execution of UL required inspections, reporting and maintaining traceability logs
• Coordination of field inspections and/or third-party vendors for audits and certifications
• Ensures all work complies with UL 294, UL 2050, UL 913 and other standards
• Perform site surveys, layouts and drawings
• Configuration, maintenance and repair of UL listed security devices such as cameras, sensors, controllers, access readers and more
• Diagnostics, repairs, replacement of faulty components or equipment
• Completion of as-built documentation, test certificates and equipment inventories
• Provides technical support and training to end users, customers and others
• Responds to service calls in a timely manner as necessary
• This role will also include ad-hoc multi-disciplined technical security service support to the greater organization.
• Perform field assessments on faulty, inoperable and broken technical security infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications:
• UL Certification 294/2050 or a UL approved training program certificate holder
• NFPA70E electrical safety and/or OSHA 10 certification
• Associate degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology or related field or equivalent military/technical training
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with security system installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance
• Working knowledge of low-voltage systems, PoE and network topology
• Proficiency with test equipment, multi-meters, video test generators, etc
• Experience with security management platforms including Lenel OnGuard and DMP
• Able to pass background and have valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 50lbs and work at heights
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of experience with integrated security and alarm systems
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity for IP devices
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
