Description:
You will be the Aircraft Structural Mechanic II for the SOF GLSS team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, inspection, and sustainment services that support the Special Operations Forces - Global Logistics Support Services (GLSS) contract.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Candidate must be experienced performing tasks such as countersinking, deburring machined and sheet-metal parts, match-drilling assemblies, installing various fasteners such as solid and blind rivets, hi-loks, screws, bolts, and nuts to specification.
Desired Skills:
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Sheet metal fabrication, riveting and assembly of complicated sub structures.
• High-precision work with tight tolerances.
• SAP experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

- Perform advanced structural repairs, modifications, and inspections on aircraft components, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.

- Diagnose and resolve complex problems, applying deep technical expertise to maintain aircraft airworthiness.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and status updates clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Document work performed, maintain accurate records, and support continuous-improvement initiatives.
