Description:Property Analyst - Level 2 - Junior Level
Location: Palmdale CA
What You Will Be Doing
As a Property Control Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accountability, compliance, and proper management of company, government, and contractor-acquired property throughout its lifecycle. In this role, you will support property management activities from acquisition through disposition, ensuring adherence to corporate policies, customer requirements, and government regulations. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external agencies to assess compliance, resolve issues, and maintain the integrity of property control systems in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform property control and accountability activities across the full lifecycle, including acquisition, utilization, tracking, and disposition
- Maintain accurate property records and ensure compliance with corporate policies, customer requirements, and government regulations
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve property-related discrepancies and regulatory compliance issues
- Coordinate and support internal and external property assessments, audits, and reviews, including analyzing results and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborate with customers, federal oversight agencies, and internal teams to ensure alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance and oversight to suppliers to ensure proper control and accountability of company and customer property in their possession
- Support pre- and post-contract award activities by identifying risks, unique requirements, and property-related obligations
- Apply working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and property management principles to ensure compliance
- Ensure business systems and processes meet requirements for conducting business with domestic and international entities
- Assist in the development and delivery of training and guidance to internal personnel on property management processes, regulations, and compliance expectations

You bring experience or foundational knowledge in property management, government regulations, and contract requirements, and you take pride in ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards. You are comfortable working in a structured, highly regulated environment and can effectively navigate complex requirements while maintaining strong organizational control.
You are also a collaborative partner who communicates effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and external agencies. With a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills, you are able to identify risks, resolve issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. You are motivated to learn, grow, and play a critical role in supporting compliant and efficient property management operations.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, International Business or related discipline from an accredited college, or 4 years experience in the absence of Bachelors Degree
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Excellent organizational skills; should be detail oriented and able to multi-task well
Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
