Program Overview

Engineering modernization and integration practices to include Digital Engineering and Agile at Scale for all of NGA, NSG, and ASG.

About The Role

Provides guidance, consultation, and thought leadership to the client and/or project team based on specialized in-depth expertise in such fields as: engineering and technology; policy; planning and programming; analysis; communications; business; and management. Monitors requirements through test and measurement activities; manages/leads quality assurance activities.

Duties include:
  • Provide strategic and technical support to the Source Directorate to improve mission prioritization, alignment, and integration through the development and implementation of strategies and plans.
  • Review existing programs and assist in aligning mission and resources.
  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
  • Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as costs, operational needs, and schedule to determine mission health.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence concerning project specifications, activities and status.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, Image Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems, Geography, or other related degree program or 12 years of working experience in a STEM field.
  • Bachelor's in Business Administration will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Demonstrated experience providing guidance and direction in programs.
  • 12+ Demonstrated experience in guidance, consultation, and thought leadership to the client and/or project team based on specialized in-depth expertise in such fields as:
    • engineering and technology
    • policy
    • program management
    • planning and programming
    • analysis
    • communications
    • business
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
Desired:
  • Master's degree in Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, Image Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems, Geography, or other related degree program.
  • Experience working with DoD/IC Acquisition Process or PPBES.
  • Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience.
  • Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.
  • Experience with:
    • Project Management software (Project, Primavera)
    • Financial tracking software
    • Enterprise resource planning ERP software.

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
