Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year (52 weeks) or will have one year within 120 days of closing of this announcement at least 3 years, 1 year (52 weeks) of which was equivalent to the next lower broadband NH-01, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in other pay systems. General Experience is described as experience demonstrating the ability to: assist with the responsibility providing a variety of specialized technical, data analytic, and administrative support in the performance of investigative and law enforcement tasks. Developing, evaluating, maintaining, and/or operating systems, policies, devices, procedures, and methods used for safeguarding information, property, personnel, operations, and materials. Assists in the development of classification guidance, document marking, safeguarding, and use; personnel access controls; need to know criteria; physical storage and control; and transmitting, transferring, reproducing, downgrading, and destroying information. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.

EDUCATION: Successfully completed a full four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the grade levels specified in the table, and may be computed by first determining the applicant's total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determining the applicant's education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level; and then adding the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of information, industrial, and personnel security concepts, principles, and practices to plan and implement security programs in these areas.
2. Knowledge of required special access program (SAP) and sensitive compartmented information (SCI) security procedures.
3. Skill in developing, analyzing, and evaluating SAP security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program for the installation.
4. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with co-workers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
5. Ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.
Ideal Candidate: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (within 2 years of EOD)
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

This is an acquisition demonstration project position NH-02 equivalent to a GS-05 to GS-11.

- Implements and administers the SAP information security program. Serves as a security professional for the development, testing, fielding, and protection of advanced and special access program resources and technologies.
- Implements and administers the personnel security program. Establishes local procedures for processing access requests for military, civilian, and contractor personnel
- Implements and administers SAP industrial security program. Review and coordinate on contractor visitor security group agreements and DD Forms 254, Contract Security Classification Specifications, for technical accuracy, extent of security protection required, and sufficiency of classification guidance prior to approval.
- Implements and administers the physical security program. Implements DOD, USAF, DIA, and MAJCOM policies and directives for the construction, protection, and operation of all advanced programs facilities to include Sensitive
