Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, coordinating, and managing Emergency Management Training and Exercise Plans AND providing technical advice on installation preparedness and response activities associated with natural and/or man-made disasters.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Tour of duty will be 24 Months.
- You will develop, coordinate, and manage the CATC Camp Fuji Emergency Management Training and Exercise Plan (TEP), ensuring compliance with emergency management-related directives, regulations, policies, civil rights laws, standards, and guidance.
- You will provide technical advice on installation preparedness and response activities associated with natural and/or man-made disasters.
- You will review and assess installation plans to ensure the capability to continue essential functions during all hazardous conditions or events
- You will provide exercise planning, development, task management, execution, and post exercise assessment support of joint and bilateral exercises.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.
- The incumbent must obtain and maintain Anti-Terrorism (AT) Level II certification within 12 months of onboarding and obtain re-certification every 3 years thereafter.
- The incumbent must obtain and maintain ICS100, ICS200, ICS300, ICS400, ICS700, and ICS800 within 12 months of onboarding and obtain re-certification every 3 years thereafter.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- The incumbent may be required to work overtime, shift work, and/or duty rotations based upon exercise schedules.
