Job Description

Program Manager

The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful delivery of contract requirements in support of government programs. The PM serves as the primary interface with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and key stakeholders, ensuring all contractual, technical, and administrative objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and management of contract personnel, operations, and performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government on all contract-related matters.
• Oversee program execution, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain program management plans, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with all federal regulations, company policies, and contractual obligations.
• Manage program budgets, resources, and staffing to meet cost and performance objectives.
• Lead risk management efforts, identifying and mitigating potential program risks.
• Coordinate across cross-functional teams, including operations, HR, finance, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit required reports and briefings (e.g., status reports, progress updates, metrics).
• Ensure quality assurance and continuous process improvement across program operations.
• Support proposal development and business growth initiatives as required.
• Maintain readiness to support contingency operations or surge requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8–12+ years of experience in program/project management, preferably within DoD or federal contracting.
• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex government contracts.
• Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contract compliance.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and program management tools.
• Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain/maintain).
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
• Experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) or combatant commands (e.g., SOCOM, SOCSOUTH).
• Familiarity with systems such as Unanet, Deltek, or other ERP tools.
