We are actively hiring Senior Network Automation Engineer with TS/SCI w/ Poly to join our Network Services Division working in Chantilly, VA. You will join a dynamic team supporting a long-standing mission offering great technical growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Network Automation Engineer will use methodologies and manage IT assets (networks & systems) using software to reduce manual workload through automation, improved processes and tools. The successful candidate will be expected to have solid knowledge in software development tools such as Python, Git, Golang and VSCode as well as hands-on automation/orchestration experience using tools such as Ansible, Saltstack and Puppet. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field or relevant experience. Knowledge of and experience with networking devices and topology. Knowledge of and experience with Windows and Linux servers and desktops. Experience with Perl, Python (NAPALM), Bash, Powershell, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Solarwinds Network Automation Manager, VMware NSX-T, or other automation frameworks.
Ability to work within multiple team environments.
Puppet Certified Professional, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Advanced Automation, Ansible Best Practices, or other similar automation certifications are highly desired.
