Job Description
One of our Top Federal IT Partners is hiring multiple Sr. ServiceNow Developers supporting various efforts around their ServiceNow platform. You will be joining a team that securely connects more than 3 million end users at over 3,000 DoD and Federal sites around the world. In this position, you will help lead ServiceNow platform development – focusing on delivering modern order and service management capabilities in support of mission-critical DoD network operations. *Must sit onsite 3x weekly/as needed at one of the following locations: Scott Air Force Base, IL or Ft. REQUIREMENTS:
• 6+ years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience in the Government/Federal space with 3+ years hands-on CMDB and ITOM experience
o Strong preference for hands-on development experience with ServiceNow telecom modules – TSOM (Telecom Service Operations Management), TNI (Telecom Network Inventory), or OMT (Order Management for Telecommunications)
• Experience building and deploying applications that meet DoD security standards and security implementation guidelines (i.e. STIGs)
• Experience working in Agile development environments, supporting sprint cycles, testing, and deployment activities
• Active SECRET Clearance or higher REQUIRED (Interim will not be considered)
• CompTIA Security+ certification required within the first 14 days of employment
PREFERRED SKILLSET:
• ServiceNow Telecom Certifications and/or ServiceNow Development & Architecture Certifications
• Experience in an AWS cloud environment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the standup, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow’s ITOM, TSM, and TSOM modules
• Create and maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Groups and Roles
• Create, maintain and enhance Dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports
• Create and configure tool integrations with ServiceNow (Elastic, Netcool, Kafka, etc)
• Coordinate and support application and platform upgrades
• Assist with design, creation and cataloging of business process flows
• Work with other members of the ServiceNow development team to propose solutions based on business needs and strategies
• Perform the necessary tasks to design and configure ServiceNow functions to meet operational needs
• Support business process re-engineering activities to move ticketing and order management capabilities into ServiceNow
• Identify trends and find patterns in unstructured and semi-structured customer data that can be used to create a more positive customer experience and increase overall network performance
• Interact with the customer to address Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts
