Software Developer
Location: This position is ONSITE. 4 days a week. MUST live within 100 miles of Lexington, MA.

Aquila Technology is seeking a Software Developer t o join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations. The candidate will be responsible for implement algorithms to process large datasets obtained from a proprietary database platform. This work may include front-and back-end development. The candidate must be experienced in software requirements, design, development, integration, testing, documentation, and maintenance. Work will be executed primarily in Rust and Python in a Linux environment using open source and custom software.

- 5 years - Programming Languages (Java, JavaScript, Python)
- 2 years - Developing scalable software architectures in cloud-native environments
- 5 years - CI/CD pipelines tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.)
- 1 years - Front end development with modern visualization tools (e.g., Grafana or Kibana)
- 5 years - Architecting software systems
- 1 years - Developing/deploying (with) agentic and generative AI solutions 1
