Cloud Architect

Key Tasks:
· Experience serving as a subject matter expert and thought leader in technical areas, specializing in Cloud, Enterprise Architecture and associated platforms and tools
· Experience performing complex systems architecture and engineering to define, architect, design, engineer and implement enterprise-wide IT systems and solutions across the technology stack
· Experience developing design concepts that are consistent with the Enterprise Architecture guidance and industry best practices to address new requirements, changes in the technical environment, and/or enhance performance
· Experience providing technical expertise in creating, updating, maintaining and visualizing architecture data
· Experience serving as a technical liaison with regard to system architecture focusing on performance, availability, redundancy, data protection, and information security
· Experience collaborating with customers to evaluate mission drivers, identify challenges, define mitigation strategies, assess applications, develop transition plans, and develop business cases in support of Cloud and other initiatives
· Experience possessing in-depth knowledge of cloud migration
· Experience with providing technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems

The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is 53,000 to 270,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
