What You'll Do:

As the Acquisition Logistics Manager, you will provide expeditionary logistics support for deployable training and simulation systems used by U.S. Navy aviation units. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team supporting an innovative, new NAVAIR program named Sims at Sea (S@S).

The Logistics Specialist will work closely with engineering, technical support personnel, and government stakeholders to ensure simulation equipment and associated support materials are delivered, maintained, and accounted for in support of fleet training and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the shipment, tracking, accountability, and sustainment of simulation equipment and support materials required for shipboard and expeditionary training operations.
  • Managing inventory accountability and asset tracking for Sims at Sea hardware, support equipment, and spares.
  • Preparing shipping documentation, manifests, and material handling documentation for domestic and international transport.
  • Supporting deployment preparation and redeployment activities, including packing, staging, and equipment configuration verification.
  • Coordinating with Navy supply activities, shipboard personnel, and government representatives to ensure timely delivery and support of equipment.
  • Tracking logistics status, maintenance items, and supply needs to ensure operational readiness of deployed systems.
  • Maintaining logistics records, inventory databases, and configuration documentation in accordance with program requirements.
  • Supporting fielded system sustainment, including parts procurement coordination and lifecycle tracking of equipment.
  • Position may require travel in support of shipboard or expeditionary operations.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience supporting logistics, supply chain, or equipment accountability in a technical or operational environment.
  • Familiarity with military logistics processes or Navy supply systems, required.
  • Proficient with property accountability systems, shipping documentation, and material tracking.
  • Prior experience supporting U.S. Navy programs or shipboard operations, preferred.
  • Experience supporting deployable training systems, simulation equipment, or technical field support teams, preferred.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Salary Range:

  • The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000, commensurate with an individual's experience, qualifications, and skill set. ASEC is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation.
