About the Role
- Develop, test, and integrate embedded real-time software on advanced defense systems
- Work with C++ (v11+) in CentOS Linux and Windows environments
- Participate in requirement analysis, code implementation, and formal qualification testing
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver robust and reliable software solutions
- Operate in a secure, fast-paced environment with cutting-edge technology
Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software for mission-critical applications
- Perform rigorous software testing, validation, and integration
- Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and reliability
- Document software processes and support formal qualification activities
- Engage in cross-functional team collaboration to meet project milestones
Required Skills and Experience
- Active SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Real-time embedded software development expertise
- Proficient with C++ (version 11 or higher)
- Experience with Linux OS (CentOS, Rocky 8, or similar)
Preferred Skills
- Multi-threading and multiprocessing development
- GitLab CI/CD pipeline implementation
- GoogleTest or similar unit test tools
- Knowledge of Data Distribution Services (DDS) by RTI and CORBA
- Familiarity with CMake and Cameo Modeler
- Windows OS proficiency
- Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary engineering teams
