Position Summary
Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a System Administrator providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Force Protection Division (AFLCMC/HBU).
The Force Protection Division (AFLCMC/HBU) delivers advanced security and defense capabilities to Air Force and Joint users through the execution of ACAT III, post-Milestone C acquisition programs. The division is responsible for enhancing installation and mission security by supporting a wide range of efforts, including site surveys, vulnerability assessments, system installation and modification, and the development of emerging force protection technologies.
HBU manages a diverse portfolio of programs designed to safeguard personnel, assets, and infrastructure against evolving threats. These efforts are driven by dynamic security requirements, resource availability, and budget considerations. Key program areas include Integrated Base Defense Security Systems (IBDSS), Fixed Site Security, Tactical Automated Security System (TASS), Modeling and Simulation, and Advanced Technology initiatives.
This is a full-time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA and is five days a week on-site.

Responsibilities
Duties includ e, but not limited to:
- Provide system administration of network, web, and/or communication systems, including Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems, involving network security
- Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions
- Perform daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or cloud based
- Optimize system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis and planning
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems
