TITLE: Embedded Real-Time Software Engineer with an ACTIVE Secret Clearance (US Citizenship REQUIRED)
RATE RANGE: $85/hr - $96/hr W2 (No health benefits/no PTO while on contract)
LOCATION: Onsite in Grand Prairie, TX 75050 (no relocation package)
SCHEDULE: 4/10A-1st Shift
CLEARANCE: Active Secret Security clearance issued by Dept of Defense (this will be verified)
DURATION: 12+ months

JOB DESCRIPTION:
GeoLogics is seeking a qualified embedded real-time Software Engineer to work onsite in Grand Prairie, TX office. to develop, test, and integrate software. The software is being developed on multi-core multi-threading environment using C++ on CentOS Linux and Windows Operating Systems environment. The candidate will experience all phases of software development ranging from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing. The candidate must already have an active SECRET security clearance.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Active SECRET security clearance
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical
Engineering or related field
Real-time embedded software development
C++ (version 11 or higher)
Linux Operating Systems (CentOS, Rocky 8, or similar distribution)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Multi-threading/multiprocessing development
GitLab CI/CD Pipelines
GoogleTest or similar Unit test tool
Knowledge of Publish / Subscribe communication protocol Data Distribution Services (DDS) by RTI is preferred
Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA)
C-Make
Cameo Modeler
Windows Operating System
Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
BS+8-10 YRS or MS+6-8 YRS
