Job Description

Position Overview

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting Learning Standards Officer in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate training curricula, instructional methods, and trainee feedback to ensure compliance with Navy standards
  • Develop and maintain testing procedures, assessment tools, and course materials
  • Provide recommendations for curriculum revisions to ensure training materials remain relevant and effective
  • Monitor and evaluate course delivery to ensure compliance with Navy training standards
  • Oversee the Navy Education and Training Command (NETC) End-to-End (E2E) process to ensure alignment with Navy policies
  • Collect and analyze training metrics to identify gaps and recommend solutions
  • Develop and implement criteria for instructor certification, evaluation, and sustainment
  • Evaluate instructors and Master Training Specialists
  • Ensure all instructors are qualified to teach in terms of instructional skills and technical proficiency
  • Submit periodic reports summarizing training program performance, including recommendations for improvement
  • Provide end-of-course reports, lessons learned, and student critiques by deadlines


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Secret security clearance
  • Possess a Navy Master Training Specialist certification or a civilian industry standard equivalent
  • Completed a certified Navy Instructor Training Course (e.g., NEC 9502, 9501, or 9518) or an equivalent civilian/commercial course certified as JIT/NITC equivalency
  • Five years of instructional experience, per DD-214 document, course certificates, or equivalent
  • Experience in curriculum development, training program evaluation, and instructional systems design
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; clearly writes and speaks in English
  • Comprehensive understanding of the NETC E2E process
