Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Developer with a strong background in building and maintaining applications using Python. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and a solid understanding of Oracle and NoSQL databases. You will be responsible for developing high-quality software, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless integration and deployment of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical challenges.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and system architecture.
Required Qualifications:
Must have Active DoD Secret Level Clearance
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
CI/CD: Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
Databases: Proficiency in working with Oracle and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).
Programming Skills: Strong understanding of Python programming, including frameworks such as Django or Flask.
Version Control: Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Additional Tools: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools.
Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Testing: Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
