Description:Lockheed Martin-Aeronautics seeks an experienced, proactive Security Associate Manager to serve as the Contractor SAP Security Officer for our premier Skunk Works facility. In this pivotal role, you will lead the safeguarding of classified, high-value assets within a Special Access Program environment, driving the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of security policies that align with DoD directives, manuals, and internal standards. You will act as the primary liaison between government security entities and internal stakeholders, ensuring that the DT&SS portfolio maintains the highest level of security posture while supporting rapid technology development and mission-critical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the government security team to elevate program security posture, overseeing functions such as Personnel Security (PERSEC), Operational Security (OPSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), and Security Education, Training & Awareness (SETA).
-Provide oversight and participation in site activation, integration, and sustainment activities.
-Lead construction and accreditation efforts for DoD facilities in line with DoD Manual 5205.07 and ICD-705 technical specifications.
-Develop, implement, and revise security operating policies for activities conducted in Special Access Program Facilities.
-Build and sustain relationships with geographically dispersed external customers.
-Coordinate cleared-and-uncleared escort procedures.
-Participate in self-inspection preparation and execution.
-Conduct preliminary inquiries into security incidents.
-Verify that facility requirements are satisfied to maintain accreditation status.
-Deliver business-oriented, risk-based security solutions and convey observations/recommendations to senior leadership and enterprise partners.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Note: A TS/SCI clearance may be required as mission needs evolve.
Basic Qualifications:
Active Top-Secret clearance with a recent (within the last 5 years) investigation or a current CV date.
Ability to obtain or retain a Top-Secret clearance to meet future mission needs.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain SAP access.
Extensive experience delivering security support within a SAP environment.
Familiarity with DoD SAP manuals and ICD-705.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to multitask effectively.
Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing program requirements.
Demonstrated experience leading and managing people, teams, and resources.
Desired Skills:
Prior management experience in a security-focused role.
Experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), Assistant CPSO, or Government Program Security Officer (PSO).
Capability to lead and manage personnel, teams, and assets.
Proficiency with JIRA or similar workflow management tools.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,400 - $150,650. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
