You will support the shop technicians to make sure they have the correct training, right materials, accurate procedures, and properly working tools
to perform their job.
- You will work extensively in SAP and VE-CAMS software to ensure production orders are released as necessary and proper materials are available.
- You will perform activities in a variety of cross functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.
- You will assist the Shop Supervisor and Manufacturing Engineers with daily assignments and
prioritization of work.
Basic Qualifications:
-Able to work well in a team and able to provide
direction to personnel on operational type
issues.
-Experience with following written work
instructions.
-Ability to interpret engineering drawings and general understanding of dimensional tolerances.
-Familiarization with Ordnance handling and fabrication.
-Experience with handling hazardous materials.
Desired Skills:
-Experience with tooling design or inspection gauges.
-Experience with SAP and VE-CAMS software.
-Attention to detail and able to follow tasks
through to closure.
-Experience with troubleshooting pneumatic
machines and other automated manufacturing
machines.
-Experience with leading small teams to common
schedules.
-Experience with tracking equipment calibration
and consumable material expirations used in
production.
-General experience in one or more areas of
manufacturing operations (i.e assembly and
adhesive bonding).
-Green Belt trained/certified.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
