Job Description
Valiant is looking for a Part-Time Exercise Analyst to join our team! In this role you will provide expertise and analytical support to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's (DTRA) Nuclear Exercises Division to plan and support various range operations, as well as supporting planning, execution, and assessment of DTRA led exercises.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support ranger operations with target set up and data collection analysis
- Develop training and exercise plans
- Develop exercise scenarios
- Develop Master Scenario Events Listing (MSEL)
- Develop control cell instructions and guidance
- Support control cell activities
- Observe, analyze, assess, and document lessons learned in after-action reports
- Provide expertise on joint training processes and procedures
- Assist in curricula design, exercise design and development
- Provide training event facilitation
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI
EDUCATION: BA or BS from an accredited institution
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Former special forces experience, emphasis in range operation
- Expertise with the DoW Joint Training System (CJCSM 3500 series) and Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Exercise Program, Combatant Commanders Exercises, or National Exercise Program
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform tasks under deadlines
- Excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact with employees from other departments or groups
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior DTRA experience
- Prior Department of Defense Environment Experience
- Working Knowledge of the DoW JTT and Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS)
- Working Knowledge of the DoW Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS)
- Expertise with Microsoft Office tool
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees. This job involves primarily working outdoors and exposure to the temperatures and elements associated with the region.
- Must be capable of transporting and lifting 40-pound boxes of documents and equipment.
