INSTALLATION TRAINING OFFICER

Duties

• You will serve as the operations training and integrated exercise advisor for all installation program directors and department heads on the execution of their respective integrated training requirements.
• You will serve as the installation's Planning Board for Training (PB4T) Coordinator.
• You will serve as the ITT Coordinator for the Region Training Team (RTT) and all other Shore Training Continuum associated higher headquarters (HHQ) assessments.
• You will seek cooperation and agreement on major policy issues and collaborative training opportunities to strengthen capability in a fiscally restrained environment.

• This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Knowledge of integrating operational and administrative readiness and exercise program's mission, organization and work processes throughout the enterprise
• Applying qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze and measure the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of the installation
• Knowledge of basic emergency response procedures including regional operations
• Commanding and controlling watch team organization, information management processes, resource management, and planning to collaborate with leaders on organizing, training, and assessing the installation's Incident Management Team.
• Establishing short and long-range plans to meet enterprise-required training and exercise goals, objectives, and milestones and directly supports major assessments.
