To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by leading a comprehensive program of audits, inspections, and analyses to ensure Command-wide compliance with regulatory directives governing cyberspace operations; Investigating complex allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse to maintain the highest standards of integrity and accountability within the organization; and directing the work of subordinate staff and diverse teams of subject matter experts to conduct complex analyses and investigations under demanding time constraints.

- Providing leadership and direction to diverse teams of subject matter experts during complex analyses and investigations.
- Leading a comprehensive and balanced program of audits, inspections, and analyses to examine the actions and operations of the Command.
- Inspecting and reporting on the efficiency and effectiveness of operational and support processes, making recommendations for improvement.
- Capturing, organizing, preserving, and analyzing evidence to support findings and ensure all conclusions meet legal standards.
- Providing independent and objective leadership on policies designed to promote economy and effectiveness, and to prevent and detect fraud and abuse.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- May be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft up to 20% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
- This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Employee must pass screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodic drug screening thereafter.
- The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1.
- This position is "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
- This is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Appointment to this position does not confer competitive status.
- Prior to appointment applicants are required to sign a statement indicating they understand the conditions of employment or assignment to the position and acknowledge the consequences of failing to meet and maintain those required conditions.
- A one-year supervisory probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
