One of our Top Federal IT Partners is hiring an Azure Infrastructure Engineer with strong knowledge and experience in Azure Gov Cloud environments for their existing program, which supports various efforts that manage the federal government’s use of radio frequency spectrum – essentially the airwaves used for satellites, radars, GPS, and wireless communications. This person will be behind the engineering and systems support to ensure everything from satellites to military systems can operate without interference. REQUIREMENTS:
• 7+ years of Azure cloud infrastructure engineering experience with 3+ years Azure Government (Gov Cloud)
• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for workload migration, replication, and disaster recovery
• Experience building and managing Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform
• CI/CD pipelines support experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar) for infrastructure deployments and automation
• Strong knowledge in VNETS – how they work and how they are setup
• Experience in Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Azure Landing Zone (ALZ)
• Active SECRET Clearance or higher REQUIRED
• CompTIA Security+ required to satisfy DoD 8570.01M requirements (or higher-level certifications in IAT Level II classification)
PREFERRED SKILLSET:
• Experience supporting Dept. of Commerce or federal civilian programs
• Strong scripting experience (PowerShell or Ansible)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, build, and maintain secure Azure Government cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical federal systems
• Lead and support cloud migration efforts using Azure Migrate, including workload assessment, planning, and execution
• Implement and manage disaster recovery solutions using Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates (Bicep, ARM, Terraform) to standardize and automate deployments
• Support and integrate CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and system configuration
• Enforce security best practices and compliance requirements (DISA STIGs, FedRAMP, NIST) across all cloud resources
• Automate system provisioning, patching, and configuration using PowerShell, Ansible, or similar tools
• Monitor system health and performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerting tools
