Duration: 12+ Months
Payrate: $50 - 55 CAD/Hr.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in low-level programming and embedded systems
• Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python
• Knowledge of networking and communications protocols
• Ability to work with Solution Architects to plan and execute project tasks
• Eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods and Secret clearance
• Must be a Canadian citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in the Defence Industry
• Experience with device drivers and firmware development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of developers and testers to deliver project features and capabilities
• Streamline complex workflows and improve interdepartmental coordination
• Contribute to the evaluation of solutions developed by team members
• Take initiative in making informed decisions regarding project direction and timelines
