Job Description

BryceTech is seeking a highly experienced part-time Senior SME Advisor to provide strategic guidance across a DHS intelligence performance and evaluation program. This role will support senior leadership engagement, complex problem-solving, and high-level mission assessment activities.

Team Overview:

These roles will collectively support a mission-critical program delivering performance analytics, evaluation, and decision support to DHS intelligence leadership. Team members will collaborate closely to transform complex data into actionable insights that enhance mission effectiveness across the homeland security enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic advisory support to program leadership and DHS stakeholders
  • Guide performance management and evaluation approaches at the enterprise level
  • Support executive briefings and decision-making processes
  • Offer subject matter expertise on intelligence mission performance assessment
  • Assist in resolving complex analytical and programmatic challenges
  • Provides subject matter expertise based on deep specialization in technology, science, public policy and administration, and management
  • Delivers expertise in performance management, program assessment, evaluation methodologies, and quantitative mathematical analysis techniques
  • Offers strategic guidance and consultation to support data-driven decision-making and mission outcomes
  • Facilitates workshops, working sessions, and collaborative engagements with client stakeholders and project teams
  • Develops and delivers training and education to strengthen client capability in analytic and performance management disciplines
  • Applies structured change management approaches to support adoption of new processes, tools, and analytic methods
  • Provides thought leadership to inform best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supports integration of analytic techniques into program evaluation frameworks to improve performance measurement and organizational effectiveness


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibilty (TS/SCI)
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • 10+ years of experience, including senior roles in DHS or the greater Intelligence Community
  • Deep expertise in mission performance assessment and intelligence operations/analysis
  • Deep subject matter expertise demonstrating extensive knowledge and recognized authority in the relevant functional or technical domain
  • Proven ability to effectively engage with senior leaders and high-level officials across government and external organizations, demonstrating professionalism, credibility, and sound judgment
  • Recognized professional reputation in the field, evidenced by publications in professional journals and/or invitations to present or speak at industry or government forums

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with GPRA / Evidence Act requirements
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, Python, or similar tools
  • Strong executive communication skills
  • Current experience with space systems
