Job Description

Sr. Power Platform Developer/IT Analyst Sr.

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance to start.

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

The Data Analyst / Power Platform Developer (PPD) supports the Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO) at Redstone Arsenal by designing, developing, and sustaining enterprise data analytics and knowledge management solutions. This role partners with business analysts and system architects to translate operational and financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders at all organizational levels. The PPD is responsible for the full data lifecycle-from requirements gathering and data integration to modeling and delivery of advanced Power BI dashboards-while maintaining a secure and scalable analytics environment within Army-hosted platforms.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Sr. Power Platform Developer/IT Analyst Sr. $186,000 - $191,433.55

Pay commensurate with experience.

Sr. Power Platform Developer/IT Analyst Sr. Responsibilities Include:
  • Collaborate with business analysts and system architects to define data requirements and solution design
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical data solutions
  • Perform end-to-end data lifecycle activities including data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and visualization
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, including financial management feeder systems
  • Develop and deploy customer-facing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
  • Create advanced data visualizations to support decision-making across operational and executive levels
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Power BI environments hosted within Army infrastructure
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across analytics platforms
  • Support knowledge management initiatives through structured data and reporting solutions
  • Provide ongoing sustainment, troubleshooting, and enhancements for deployed analytics tools
  • Communicate technical concepts and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Sr. Power Platform Developer/IT Analyst Sr. Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or Power Platform development
  • Strong experience with data collection, integration, transformation, and modeling
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard and report development
  • Experience building advanced data visualizations and user-friendly reporting solutions
  • Knowledge of administering and sustaining enterprise BI environments
  • Familiarity with integrating data from financial management systems (government experience preferred)
  • Experience working across multiple platforms, tools, and data environments
  • Proven ability to manage full project lifecycle from requirements through deployment and maintenance
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
