Location: Washington, D.C. - supporting federal IT service management operations

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering and enhancing a mission-critical ServiceNow implementation. Responsibilities
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow workflows, integrations, and portals to support operational objectives
- Configure and optimize the ServiceNow platform to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability
- Analyze system requirements and recommend improvements for platform functionality and efficiency
- Support full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities, including design, development, testing, and deployment
- Apply ITIL and CSDM best practices to ensure alignment with industry standards, optimizing the ServiceNow instance for seamless operation
- Provide technical expertise in system architecture, automation, software development methodologies, and risk management
- Apply advanced mathematical principles and methods to challenging technical problems in engineering and scientific applications, delivering automated solutions
- Utilize a hands-on approach to problem-solving, architecture, and innovation to ensure seamless configuration and optimization
- Provide high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, and advice for solving moderately complex technical challenges
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address complex technical challenges and deliver scalable solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for configurations, integrations, and processes
- Serve as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow technologies and related systems
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- On-site support in Washington, D.C.
- U.S. Citizenship or Dual Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 10+ years experience with ServiceNow advanced workflows and platform development
- Minimum of 7-10 years experience with ServiceNow Security Vulnerability Response
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, Now Assist, and SPM Agile Development
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in IT or related technical fields
- Deep technical understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, development, and optimization
- Demonstrated advanced expertise in information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, automation, risk management, modeling, simulation, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) management
- Strong familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, Vulnerability Response (VR), Security Incident Response (SIR), and IRM modules
- Knowledge of ITIL and CSDM frameworks and best practices
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and stakeholders effectively
- Support mission-critical federal IT service management and modernization initiatives
- Work with cutting-edge ServiceNow technologies in a secure government environment
- Collaborate with experienced engineers, architects, and program stakeholders
- Contribute to scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise IT solutions
